Wearing the full Daedric Armor set in Skyrim.

This crafting guide will cover the various Daedric Armor pieces that can be crafted using the Smithing skill in the Elder Scrolls v: Skyrim. Within you will find a list of relevant information for each piece of equipment that can be crafted including weight, base damage, gold value, value per pound ratio for each item, cost to craft and the profit margin that results, keeping in mind your actual profit in crafting Daedric Armor will vary depending on your speech skill. All items in this category are considered to be Heavy Armor pieces.

All items of the Daedric Armor and the Daedric Weapons category require both Ebony Ingots and Daedra Hearts in order to craft. Ebony is one of the rarest ore types to find in Skyrim with Daedra Hearts being possibly the most hard to find ingredient used in any sort of crafting. Even though these hearts can be used for potions in alchemy, it is highly advised that you do not use them for this, as they are worth far more when used for making armor.

In order to upgrade the quality of these equipment pieces, you require a single Ebony Ingot and the use of a Workbench. The exact benefit of this process is affected by your Smithing skill and can be upped by using potions and enchanted items worn while crafting. Finally, if you ever expect to get your hands on these armor pieces, forget about trying to buy or find them as collecting an entire set is a ridiculously difficult task, crafting is the way to go.

Daedric Armor

Chest Piece Heavy Armor

The Chest piece of the Daedra Armor set follows the scheme of almost demonic looking armor, with some slightly lopsided shoulder plates that still manage to make it look totally bad-ass. The lower middle of the chest looks as though the jaws of some crazed and deadly monster is reaching out of it almost. Why bother equipping weapons? You could probably take out your enemies just by running into them with this thing.

Daedric Boots

Foot Piece Heavy Armor

The Daedric Boots follow the spiky theme with pointed pieces layered one atop the other and bolted together at the sole and shins. Intricate patterns decorate the upper portions giving the look of an evil elf's choice footwear. Like the chest piece, the boots seem that they would make a good weapon on their own with the sharp pointed toe piece.

Daedric Gauntlets

Hand Piece Heavy Armor

These Daedric Gauntlets consist of many layers of forward forcing spiked sheets of ebony, covering every bit of your character's hands with near impenetrable armor. Scratching your opponent's eyes out seems totally plausible with the finger tips that end in long sharp nails. Deadly yet fashionable with even more intricate patterns decorating the upper part of the forearm section of these gauntlets.

Daedric Helmet

Head Piece Heavy Armor

The Daedric Helmet is made of two distinctly colored types of material, both made of ebony and dipped in the blood of Daedra to cool from the heat of the forging process. Lopsided like the shoulders of the chest piece, yet just as vicious. Even though there are slots for the eyes, light doesn't penetrate them keeping your character's face permanently shrouded in darkness.

Daedric Shield

Heavy Armor Shield

The Daedric Shield is probably the most intricately detailed part of the entire set of armor except for the chest portion, having designs carved over the vast majority of the surface and large deadly looking spikes coming from both the top and bottom of the shield. Evil enough to help block attacks by simply scaring the shit out of your opponent to the point where they won't even try to hit you, although they probably still will.
